To this end, she employs every means imaginable and, in accordance with the principle of karma, finds herself increasingly drawn into dark and perilous paths. The wondrous encounter with a holy hermit, his arduous mission to capture a special spirit in India, and the enchanting stories of the captured spirit offer a unique window into the world of Tibetan Buddhism. These stories stem from the oral tradition of her homeland and aim to bring the ancient cultural heritage—which is threatened with extinction in Tibet—closer to a wide readership, as well as to encourage reflection on what true happiness actually means.
